Remote Learning

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HOP (and all other schools in NYS) are engaged in remote learning from March 16 until the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

How it works:

  • All courses are taught via Google Classroom. In order to enroll, students should go to classroom.google.com and email their teacher for the course code.

  • Students must get their daily attendance each day in the Attendance Class.

  • Teachers either run a livestream course each day, according to the schedule below or they post asynchronous work by 9 AM every morning. If students have questions about the coursework, they can use email or Google Hangouts to video chat or message teachers, who will be available during office hours to provide assistance.
